Still impressed by what can be done with these RED images.

Thanks Justen. That was just a combination of Brightness, Red, Blue, Contrast, Gamma and Saturation adjustments made to TIFF grabs of the default R3D.

Eric, more pics or it didn't happen. :biggrin5:

I have so many but Im in lock down with some of the choice ones :)

I shot this spec commercial for the new Converse All Star II shoes as part of a TV Concept course at my school (Danish School of Media and Journalism: Creative Communication). Each team had 2 weeks from brief to delivery to come up with an idea and execute it. First week was idea generation and second week was all about preparing and shooting the commercial. It was shot on Scarlet-X mostly with the Sigma 18-35 lens but also Canon 50mm 1.4 and 60mm 2.8 (macro). Black and white is often a easy shortcut, but in this case I actually think it fits the brand pretty good which is why we choose to shoot black and white.

Jesper...LOVE IT!!

Jesper that was inspiring. I love the contrast in the grades between the young guys and the older guy. I love that the older guy is sharper and more defined. Gosh those images look great. Well done, sir!

Shot about a month ago on Scarlet MX with EF-S 17-55 and EF 24-105 in outback Australia - 1200km (or 750miles) from the nearest capital city. Takes 6 hours on a small plane with 4 stops. I was sent their by my work to spend a week with Andrew, a really cool dude and director of the local clinic.

Thanks for that Daniel, very inspiring :)

So not super sexy... but.

For the past 8 years I've had a side passion project where I've been making a little online cooking show. Started out pretty modest, shooting in my home kitchen by myself on HVX200's. Something to do in between commercial gigs, and that downtime that freelancers can experience.

Fast forward and we're now shooting Scarlet Dragon 5K , with 4K masters (4K delivery coming next month to our new ROKU 4 Channel, but that's another story), with 1080 delivery to a bunch of online media platforms. Online I get a few million views a day aggregated across multiple outlets. My passion project became my full time shooting job, with a dedicated kitchen studio, etc... (stop laughing Bob G.)

Last week (Oct 19), I launched an cable channel on AT&T U-verse to just over 6 million homes in the U.S. - over the next few months I'll be rolling it out to 25-ish million homes across North America, with an option for double that in Latin America. By this time next year most of these operators will have us on their 'dial' as a 4K test channel.

Still early days, but very exciting... All shot on Scarlet. I'm building a cable empire with Scarlets!!!!

Shut up and shoot that Scarlet.

That's a really good bit of writing, photography, direction and editing there Daniel, imo. The only little niggle I had was seeing the pink blown out parts of the sky that can be evened out to white with the DRX slider in Redcine-X, but that's just a trivial thing, compared to how good the whole thing looks and 'works' overall.

Thanks Justin, here's a link to Daniels video if the embedded version isn't showing up for you - https://vimeo.com/140425951

Don't think I ever mentioned it, but that's so cool you've hit on a winning formula and are making the most of it, and that the Scarlet-X is an integral part of it. Congrats on that.

Thanks Les, I'll give that a go - this was a bit of an extreme grade for my personal channel - the one I delivered was a fair bit more subdued on the pink.
