Love the bokeh Les ;)

Thanks eric. Any updates on those projects you posted frames from a while back?

Picture lock done but waiting on VFX and audio.

Man that was a few projects ago for me.

Its a proposed series so crossing fingers I get more work.

Good luck with it Eric, nice to know you're keeping busy anyway.

What are the objects there Les? Quite some pretty frames there.

And are we to believe that you are the man himself?

Thanks justin. The smaller dots are swarms of flying insects, shining in the sunlight reflected off water through trees.

Here are the graded frames left in the ungraded 5K/12fps shot they were taken from -

And, umm, yeah, sorry about that, was just checking a light, grade, lens etc combination and that was the best available option at the time.

Some really pretty frames in there Les, and checked out the Youtube Video. Nice to be able to pull from that stuff.

As for the self portrait, it's actually really nice and moody. i'm actually still trying to figure out what you do and why a Dragon is in your armoury?

Anyways, less roos and more of that golden Australian landscape. Nice work. We have lots of pretty colours out there.

Good luck with it Eric, nice to know you're keeping busy anyway.

As I can't open Redcine-X at the moment, I wanted to get a shot of the night part with high ISO, but this is at ISO 320, 1/30 shutter, T/3.1 14mm Rokinon at T/4, with the LL OLPF. (Scarlet Dragon, 6K 3:1 compression).

Music video shot underwater on MX Scarlet with Motion Mount and 17-55 in an EWA Marine Red A with a single 1.2K HMI and for the breakdown an Atomic 3000 strobe.

Made the mistake of shooting the whole thing with the motion mount which resulted in a hefty underexposure. I'm happy with how Neat Video sorted most of it but some was a bit of a bummer.

I think this came out great!! No bummer here. Wondering about capture. Frame rate, size, and compression?

Good stuff Daniel I think the frames turned out great IMHO ;)

Looking great. Maybe you should have kept that last sentence for you, because i was looking for problems and didn't find. ;)

Scarlet Dragon Footage

Scarlet Dragon Footage

This was shot on my Scarlet Dragon w/ Nikon 14-24mm 2.8@21mm, wide open, 4K-24fps Iso250. I used this shot to play with some compositing techniques. Graded in AECC14 with some Magic Bullet help. The sky was replaced but Prometheus was really there re-fueling to my surprise.

Thanks all :)

The main 'dancing' part was shot 3K wide screen 60fps on the lowest compression setting - maybe 8:1? Not too sure. The strobe stuff was shot 4K WS 36fps - with the strobe 60fps was just too slow. The singing was 4K 23.976fps.
