Apologize for the typo on the title line. Mods, please fix the error/s.

Thank you.

Thanks Rand. DP of the feature Barry Ackroyd did a good job on cinematography.

When I was very young, my parents used to live in London. They had a bunch of friends in Edinburgh, Inverness and Glasgow. We did visit them every other year or so. I've visited a few of those castles shown in this movie.

Supposedly the director cut 21 minutes out of the original screening after receiving mediocre reviews from critics. The budget for this movie was $120,000,000.00. I think producers should have made this as an episodic series.

21 minutes, I guess that's not alot when you consider that its done so often for films to get certain MPAA ratings, a PG from an R or an R from a NC-17. Hopefully those 21 minutes didn't take away from the overall quality or plot of the story.

Well, there is this character "Queen Margaret of England" in the IMDB credit list. What happened to her? I did not see her appear in any scene. Seems like the director took her out of the movie. Who knows what else.

To me this whole thing looked like they kinda rushed towards the end. I was expecting more of a closure I guess.

(Why can't English people talk without stammering? The director seems to fumble on words as if he is trying to find words or group to gather his thoughts perhaps).

It was an interesting Idea to offer some of the deleted scenes on Netflix with a push of a button. I always liked those dvds or blue-rays that offered BTS footage. He said the "First assembly" was like 4 hours. I image this was just to put everything together and then trimming it down to a more free flowing cohesive film. With all of the Attention given to DJI'S Ronin, you kind of almost forget about how extensive Steadycams are still very much used in High-End Cinematography. The Steadycam operator in the "Behind the Scenes" video looks like he had a real hand full with the Panavision Millennium DXL.

Neil,

Seems to also be some smaller cameras in there, perhaps vanilla non-DXL Monstro or Dragon 8K VVs. I think this was filmed before DXL-M was announced.

Yeah, Maybe Monstro

Did anyone else feel like most if not all low light scenes looked excessively noisy?

The day lit scenes looked gorgeous, but as soon as a night scene appeared with low light there was more noise than I have seen in any modern production in years.

Yes, I feel the same.

And not released on disc. Disturbing trend I hate. If they want my money and attention they have to go beyond streaming.
