Here's a nice little short we shot for Mark Kern's (Reduser.net member) new online channel stage5.tv. DP was the wonderful Milan Spasić (also Reduser.net member). Boy can he rock that camera! Shot the entire thing in 10 hours overnight on a train in Miami and was a ton of fun to shoot, albeit a little stressful. Shot on the Epic with Red Pro Prime lenses.

Please subscribe to Stage 5 channel to see more films from them, all shot at 4K, most likely all on RED.

Thanks Mark!

Al, I take the metro every single day, you have no idea how many times Ive sat there dreaming about how sick it'd be to get an epic on there. They didnt give you trouble shooting on the train or they closed one off for you? Ive had my share of crazy people experiences lol, anyways this is great. I went to one of the workshops Andrae Palmer at Facet Media does really cool guy

Hey Carlos! We rented the train for the night and it was parked at the Palmetto station for us. Let me tell you Metrorail were awesome to work with and I was really surprised. They let us have the train the day before for rehearsals and even for a few hours a couple of weeks later to get some pick up shots. They let us take all the lighting fixtures down, put up our own posters, black out the windows and even moved it up and down the track for us for a couple of shots. The staff during the night shoot were great to hang out with and they were loving being involved in a real film shoot. Expensive as hell to rent but I'd do it again in a heartbeat, maybe even shoot an entire feature on there who knows. Yeah I can't make it to the workshop this weekend but may make it to next month. See you there maybe.

Cheers.

Thanks for the kind words Al, it was great working with you.
This little short was a great fun to shoot in spite of the grueling schedule.

Thanks to Mark Kern at Stage5 for making this short possible and crew and cast that made it fun to be on the set.

Cheers!

Milan
