Scarlet is part of the DSMC system so if they aren't making a CF module for Epic they aren't for Scarlet either. It just goes against the whole RED philosophy to make a CF module for Scarlet but somehow disable it on Epic.
This way they only have to make one type of side module (economy of scale) and people can still use CF cards with the CF adapter for the SSD module.
