Well... I assume then, at least, that orders to countries such as Croatia, or in my case Switzerland with low taxes, won't be involuntarily dragged through UK customs? I would never accept that. Much more out of principle than any price increase...

Certainly RED can accommodate world wide shipping, or if the customer benefits from it, offer shipping through RED UK.

yes you have a low vat and nice cars in the swiss , but if i am not mistaking you guys pay on all imported items at least 10% import tax.
then add the local tax 7%?.
i ship a lot to the swiss , and the paperwork involved is a pain. we have to send all invoices in duplicates of 5 pieces.

In Denmark VAT is 25% As I understand it VAT is 20% in the UK which is about the difference of $1000. It shouldn't be impossible to find a two-way planeticket for less then that.

yes but if you own a company you do not have to pay vat.
if you are a consumer i would recomend going to the uk , pay the full amount incl the local 20% vat.
write " avatar" on the side of the scarlet with removable inkt and take it with you , since its used

In France, it's (still) 19,6 %. Do you apply UK VAT or France VAT if we order from France as a private user ?

you have to pay the local UK vat as a consumer , but .4 % is not a lot to gain is there?

I ordered a scarlet from zürich, switzerland two days ago. The package order got split up into the several items but the price remained the same and is listed in dollars. But i guess there will be around 10% taxes anyway even if Red doesnt list them ...

Jep, we swiss people get our Scarlets direct from RED US.. checked that already.. for the price in USD & additional shipping. The Customs will then want 8% MwST and Zoll from us that the transport company will collect from us on delivery..

When I imported my Epic, 'Zoll' duty is based on weight of a couple of the items, it was very little possibly 20CHF, then 8% VAT, plus a customs clearance charge 25CHF.
