Nice, this one feels like a Milestone, since you were really wondering if you had been passed by and all.
PICS! FOOTAGE! lol. And congrats.

Jeffrey,
As a former resident of Chipita Park, and graduate of Manitou Springs High School, it would be great to see images of the area again.
Weather permitting, shoot the Garden of the Gods with late afternoon sun, and crepuscular rays of the setting sun off of Pike's Peak.
Thank you.
Congrats jeffrey, i have a feeling that your posts will be different now and will be way less
Up for grabs, is the first to shoot HDRX
Haha Thanks Sergio, before I saw this I decided to go ahead and render out a couple shots of the Deer I shot today. He was moving around quite a bit so I had a hard time shooting on tripod so the shots or shaky with no IS, but Everyone else has shared so I will too. Don't get me wrong, C-Springs is beautiful. I'll be all over it in the summer, winter doesn't do it for me for some reason, but I'll go ahead and share. Here is where the transcoding fun begins!Jeffrey, congrats!![]()
Hope you post footage/stills real soon! Don't let the weather stop your enthusiasm!
Concerning you place (Colorado Springs), sometimes, what we think is not interesting- because we see that place every day for years- looks uninteresting. I have the same feeling about where i am and am sure as soon as I shoot some footage of this place, people from outside will find it interesting. What for us is bland and fairly common, for someone on the other side of the world is fresh and unique (because they have never seen it before!). Present it in an interesting way with your Scarlet, and Colorado Springs will shine!
Thanks Les, thats what I tried to do with the coloring. My brother and I intend to do a short in the area up there. He's actually in the military and we have access to alot of unique items that might otherwise be hard to come accross.Congratulations on getting the camera.
I actually like that footage of the deer you put up on Vimeo. I find it very atmospheric, in a harsh, bleak kind of way. I have no doubt that area you're in, even at that time of year, could be used to good effect for the right kind of project/s. But if it's not what you're into, fair enough. I personally would rather watch a feral-looking deer with one antler try to find something to eat amongst the sticks while the insects buzz around than...a lot of other stuff I can think of. But that's just me.![]()
