Oh crap.
That's for Muse....*SIGH*

I am VERY sorry for not checking my sauce. Will not happen again.

Thanks for catching that, Spencer.

OK I may be a little late but why wouldn't Premiere Pro CC be able to edit Scarlet-W files aren't the files r3d? Ive been editing 6k r3d files for awhile now. Am i missing something?
Coming very, very soon.

Ok! So it's been about a month since my w landed, and I still don't have a clue as to when I will be able to work with the r3d redcode in adobe. So far I have been able to view the prores in premiere, and I hear about a "beta" version of premiere that works.. Is there someone I should be calling? RED support? Adobe?

the R3D from Raven and Scarlet-W are a bit different than the 6k dragon/weapon files.. still no word i guess
does premiere read the prores from the raven and scarlet at least?
if not, so whats the work around, to transcode the r3ds to prores?

Can you edit R3D on Resolve 12? Just got my Scarlet-W so I guess I'll test it out before my shoot

It's sadly a simple fix as the SDK "allows" for it to be read. The major issue here is the next push update from Adobe also happens to be a major release. The next version should support Raven, Scarlet-W, and Weapon 8K files since the SDK has gone out some time ago as far as I understand.

It sucks to wait. I'm on your side with that. It's coming though. This release should be coming soon.

I have voiced my frustration regarding how this is being handled to the best of my abilities. Adobe is a publicly traded and very large company. Things aren't always easy to achieve even when on the surface they are.
