  • Hey all, just changed over the backend after 15 years I figured time to give it a bit of an update, its probably gonna be a bit weird for most of you and i am sure there is a few bugs to work out but it should kinda work the same as before... hopefully :)

Besides the fact that it's a cable-less design, is there any technical difference between the DSMC2 7" touch monitor and the "older" DMSC 7" touch? From all the stats I'm reading, it's the same technology, just different mount. Correct?

The monitor itself? No.

If you don't need audio inputs or video outputs, then yes you could power and operate the camera with the XL module attached.

Hi Gene, my rep actually emailed me that it that "RED ARMOR for SCARLET-W was just listed at $1250 (extends the warranty by a year)"

I also thought it would be 2 additional years. Is there an official doc or link on this?

oh someone else said it was 2 extra years. can someone else clarify if theri weapon armor was more, so that we know if the raven might be less?

Maybe I misunderstood. He said 750 days and I thought he meant on top of the existing 365 days. If it only extends it 1 year for a total of 750 days, that seems like a lot of cash @ $1250.
 
Was told RAVEN RED ARMOR was going to be 950 for an extra year.
 
We're on the last day of the RED/Filmgate Masterclass in Miami and it was very cool to see the Reef Photo & Video crew sporting their shiny new Scarlet-W AND see the new Nauticam Weapon housing! Sexy and tiny.
 
I would love to see this housing set-up if you took any snapshots Phil!
