  • Hey all, just changed over the backend after 15 years I figured time to give it a bit of an update, its probably gonna be a bit weird for most of you and i am sure there is a few bugs to work out but it should kinda work the same as before... hopefully :)

Scarlet-W has Begun...

We began blasting out notifications tonight.... The Scarlet-W program has officially begun.

Brains are going out first, and the Scarlet-W Packages should start going out next week.

Thanks to all our great customers for all for your support... and thank you to all the RED engineers for truly outdoing themselves on this one.
 
wow! nice to know, though im in for the raven.
so, scarlet pkgs next week, that means the i/o v-lock expander will be out soon.
being in on the raven, right now brain only ala carte, but im probably the first person to order the i/o vlock expander online (ala carte), since i luckily stumbled upon them going live about 15 minutes before it was announced. the question is: will i possibly even getting the i/o vlock expander before my raven order? since those are being made avail for scarlet pkgs? or are you doing all pkgs first, then ala cartes? fyi im also 6th on the raven reduser que :)

Awesome news! Will you be shipping V-lock I/O modules next week as well for those with brains only?

Mark, depends on quantities. Initial ones will go with packages as SCARLET-W packages went live first on RED.com...

I would anticipate all DSMC2 modules / bits to be in extremely high demand as the rollout ramps up... Not just V-Lock Modules ( which goes to packages first ) but all the bits as we are seeing people buy stuff ahead of delivery.
 
Thank you Jarred, Brent and the rest of RED team! So glad to be part of this new release. Sold my scarlet-x months ago and have been lost without it. Can't wait to start creating again with my Scarlet-W package

Curran, we are actually updating our availability notices on RED.com on a lot of the DSMC2 accessories over tonight and tomorrow so we can begin shipping those a la carte, not just with packages, since we are off backorder with all WEAPON brains...

oh, so for raven, packages will go out first with modules and monitors before someone with a raven only brain early order can get what they need to run the camera?
hmm.
 
Tonight I was writing and felt a disturbance in the force... logged in here, and BAM!!!!

Scarlet-W. Shipping for real. Well that's fucking incredible. Impressive, guys, and congratulations. The fun is about to begin.
 
My own "it has begun" thread was just locked for being a duplicate. Apparently I was so quick at posting the news that I even beat Jarred to it and let the cat out of th bag before he could. Too excited for my own good. ;)

oh wait, so yes… thats what i was saying, technically even though i have a raven order (very early one) i bet bottom dollar im the first or second person to order a i/o vlock expander online, so i should be getting that sooner then my body, since it exists, yes?

Could happen. All depends on quantities, order time stamps, etc etc.

You can relax for tonight. And probably tomorrow. I would expect next notices next week as we blasted tonight what we already have on shelves and in WIP….
 
And for the V-Lock / AB Gold mount guys Element Technica is on short supply.. They have some AB in stock and should get some more V-Lock's mid next week.

Wooden Camera has alot of their DSMC2 stuff in stock and a few other 3rd parties are right on the horizon from launches so its a good time to be a Weapon/Scarlet-W/Raven customer.

And OMOD is coming along.. keep an eye out on Mark.
