Looks really good, just what you'd expect from any Hollywood film. Crystal clear video, and handles low light and bright shots well.

And this thing is 15000$? People are getting crazy about it already. All forums flooding that Canon nailed this one.

btw it looks like hasselblad, not like EPIC or Scarlet.

is it $15k? I havent seena price or even heard the resolution specs yet? is it 2k or 4K? But yeah - f@ck me its looking hot. Im still waiting for the 'gotcha' - it is canon after all ;-)

images coming through now for the sword movie coping a lot of "low light noise now looks bad" ?

I think those were shot with natural light and seriously high ISO.

" Daylight scenes are still looking good, but the noise persists in the low light shots. "

A few specs as listed in that DVinfo article: Okay, only 1080p with MPEG2 codec. Um, okay. So?
"Two identical cameras, one with EF mount, one with PL mount; Super-35 4K CMOS sensor,
records 1080p30 to Compact Flash cards using existing Canon XF 50Mbps 4:2:2 MPEG2 codec."

Yeah that doesn't seem right to me.

Availability: Jan. 2012; Price: appx. $16,000 USD

Strong/ High production values on next film EXIT (no noise). shooting avail. low light on this cam could give problems.
