My Scarlet got here yesterday, wooo! Didn't have anything but the brain, but I hooked it up to my Marshall SDI monitor for a little peek.. looked good!
Today I got the Touch and plugged it in - and unfortunately immediately ran into a big issue. Now, in 4k or 5k (disappears when I punch in to 3k or 2k), there is some serious banding/glitching on the right side of the image. It's passed through the Touch, SDI, and HDMI. Reset everything to default, tried just about everything I could in camera - I'm still waiting on my SSDs next week so I couldn't test anything involving storage yet (black shading, reinstall firmware, save logs... more?) It's worst in 5k, and sometimes when selecting 5k I get a 1D error thrown and restart. This has been running off AC power so far and it's running 3.0.0.
Has anyone run in to this issue before? I submitted a Red ticket but haven't heard back after I responded - they initially just said to do what I mentioned above. When I get the SSD I'm curious to see if it records the glitch... a clean feed out through HDMI displays the error. Bah! Thoughts? Greatly appreciated.
