Scarlet at CES

[Thor Melsted]

Ted seems to not have the latest info. In the video he talks about the 5K scarlet that is now a part of the Epic line and he talks about the 2.8" monitor which I believe has been discontinued and the smallest will be 5" now. He also says the fixed will be $4750. I thought it was $5750 now (estimated)?

That's from a year ago.

This thread really should be locked, or renamed to CES 2010. A lot of people are getting confused and replying to 1 year old posts.

That's because RED did not update their web page or updated their info. I think RED is forgetting it is a media company. I don't know if it is a deliberate policy of RED or just the company doesn't know how to communicate with general public? Just to prove my point- RED showed up in 2010 trade show with a banner stating "2009"- I am sorry, showing up at one of the major trade shows with a year old banner makes the whole corporation look like a joke, not a contender, regardless of how good the product is supposed to be.
