  • Hey all, just changed over the backend after 15 years I figured time to give it a bit of an update, its probably gonna be a bit weird for most of you and i am sure there is a few bugs to work out but it should kinda work the same as before... hopefully :)

Is there some kind of sign-up sheet or list for Scarlet? I've been waiting years and hate to be out in the cold when the mania hits....

He, he, good one Bruce! If you can do one of him chasing the acorn and replace the acorn with a scarlet, that would just about sum it up around here. We could adopt it as the official image of the scarlet forums (and development team):willy_nilly: :wink5:

this is most excellent indeed!!! Even though i might not be able to afford a Scarlet depending on pricing, i'm 100% behind the most innovative film camera company ever!!! REDvolution!!!
 
This is the most excited I've been about this whole thing since the first '3k for 3k' announcement - and I've been pretty excited all the way along! Given what Jim's said in the recent past about not announcing anything 'til it's ready to ship, Nov 3rd has got to be a day to be sitting here hitting F5 if ever I saw one.

Now I just have to hope I'm still in the game budget-wise...
 
Very much looking forward to hearing more about the new Scarlet and putting down a deposit that same day. (minute)

Rather than just type into the foroum, I hope they will announce via video stream via Scarlet via Teredek Cube via Akamai.

Red, any chance that you might HOST the Scarlet announcement at Red HQ for those of us willing to fly out, or are already in So Cal?

Would love to see the look on all the Red Teams faces as they do the announcement. We can do it in the break room with all the microwaves; we don't care.

So +1 for Scarlet Announcement at Red HQ. -- Any others willing to fly out or drive?
 
If this is a straight up fight, with no curveballs thrown in, this is like Mike Tyson vs. Michael Spinks. Huge expectations going in, but potentially a very quick knockout because one fighter isn't really comfortable being there.

Nov 3 has been marked down on my calendar.
 
Will Scarlet take PL Mount Glass (Red Pro Zoom 17-50)? If so I'm buying mine today in anticipation!!!
