Just to tell that a friend working at PANAVISION FRANCE told me that they received SCARLETS, don't know if it is true but I don't understand the delivering method of RED Europe ...

meddy, did you receive a phone call? how does it work when we receive the allocation mail? we just wait for them calling?

We received our Scarlet PL today # 00048 / SO 0051626 & 0054784 (Nov. 4 and 21)
Got everything (Bomb EVF, 5"LCD...) exept Redmote.

It's the PL version (not ordered in a package)

Still nothing in my hand .... :/ I know that it will come very very soon but anyway it is unfair...
just a reminder I'm SO-50997 and for me, REDMOTE and SIDEHANDLE are missing ... ^^
I only hope that they made me wait longer in order to get me all the things which are missing.

Just received a new email from Ivan@Red with the following information:

"Congratulations, you have one or more SCARLET-X with Side SSD Module and AL Canon Mount brains that are nearly ready to ship."

"If you already have enough funds in your RED account, we'll just need the shipping address for the package. From the time we receive confirmation back from you and when there is enough funds in your account to cover this delivery, you will be put into the next delivery group of SCARLET-X with Side SSD Module and AL Canon Mount brains. "​

Now, I have a few questions (I've already emailed Ivan back, but as the email from him was a bulk message, I'm not expecting a fast reply, but maybe Alan Piper or someone whose camera has already shipped can shed some light.

According to the email, I could just transfer funds now and the camera ships from the next batch. But earlier I was told to wait until RED Europe sends me an invoice before making any transfers. But if I wait for the invoice, people who might've already transferred the funds will possibly jump me in line. So should I just transfer an approximate amount now and charge the rest to my credit card or what? Any ideas?

Shipping notification received from Sam at RED Europe too, cameras making their way through customs. Fingers crossed we can pick up in the next few days (SO50896, Canon AL)

Jaakko, Just ask Ivan how much you must pay and he will reply and send you the invoice.
That's what he does when I asked him so I just paid the exact amount.
