Arrived today and is out for some more testing. Here are more pictures and my first observations: http://www.cinema5d.com/news/ Can anybody answer how to set 120fps @ 1K and if EFS is non auto focus? Cheers

Don't have mine yet but I believe that the current Scarlet firmware does not have 120fps 1k enabled yet. Someone correct me if I'm wrong.

Congrats! Nothing wrong with this, but it seems as if they're getting them out to people with blogs/sites/proven work. Good to get some early reviews and opinions from the likes of C5D/NoFilmSchool/Tonaci

Sebastian, were you at the event?

Wasn't at the event, talked to Jarred but also SO 972.
CS5.5.2 doesn't take my Scarlet R3D files.
Congrats! And odd, it took the sample ones I've downloaded.

And that shows right there that SO numbers don't mean as much. I thought they were only shipping the Canon mounts inside those who were at the event...maybe it's different in Europe. Either way go out there and do amazing things!

You have to re-install the Epic importer because the update nukes the previous file settings.

-EDIT-

Tyler beat me to it, so I'll ad a linky to the Adobe site for download.

he jumped a good number according to "The List" Maybe we're close as well :) Please Please Please!

I think it is obvious why he received his camera before others in line and no disrespect to him for this. He runs a very popular forum and website devoted entirely to DSLR filmmaking and I'm sure RED has devoted a number of priority orders for this reason to others as well. They should. I would do the same and it only helps spread the word on the real reviews of the Scarlet sooner than later.

I would love my Scarlet X sooner, but for a few cameras to get in the hands of professional reviewers and bloggers before mine is totally cool. I can't wait to see some more review on the Scarlet X on his site. Congrats and thanks for the pics and quick review so far man!!
