Got 120fps working in the Scarlet 8x prototypes this week.. did a quick little test on Stage 6 at the studio for fun.

Awesome!

Edit: I wrote "awesome" at the news. Now that I actually downloaded the file and played it, awesome seems a bit of an understatement... HOLY SHIT!!!

(and how come your "quick tests" "for fun" always seem to have so much production value....?) haha

oh goodness... hahaha, epic! i mean scarlet!

you guys are awesome, what else can i say?

oh, it looks great by the way... as expected, maybe even better.

Nice ... the footage looks very clean too =)

That's what we've been waiting to see. I'm sure folks at ScarletUser are going to be excited. Thanks, Jarred. :}

Haha! "Quick little test" - yeah right! :D

Hmmm, would it be possible to do the same thing as you did last time with TATTOO - upload in 2K ... ?? That would be really, REALLY nice! :)

Regardsless - Thanks for uploading this awesome "test" ;D

wow. that is very clean. what was your workflow to output this video jarred?

That looks amazing! I like the lighting a lot too. Nice video for just having "fun".

I start in RCX.. get it 90% of the way there, usually I would export to After Effects but i just recently started to going to Premier CS 5.5 for the finish.. export right from the Premier timeline. Adobe really seems to have stepped up their game again.

Truth is that Jarred put this whole thing together in a couple of days... all Jarred.

HA Glorious! 1 Take ?

you know what.. we probably did 5 takes... but every single one of them was usable. Matt Bennett ( skateboarder ) landed every single take.. the models and talent nailed it every time.. and my dolly grip ( AKA Rory one of our new bombsquad reps ) got me going like a bat out of hell almost perfectly every time and kept the speed up and then stopped me within inches from smashing into the wall at the end every time... which in itself was quite a feat given there was 130 feet of track and Im a pretty big dude to be pushing along at 30 miles per hour.

We only really stopped shooting because we ran out of rounds for the automatic weapons.. Silly me thinking 1000 rounds would last all day long.

Jarred - Did you attend the street art exhibit at MOCA? so awesome to see this today after being at the show!

missed it unfortunately.. is it still playing?

I'm so impressed/excited at how great Scarlet is looking tonight. Very "filmic". There is more to a cinematic look than just wide apertures. I love how rich the image looks.

Excellent lighting, Jarred.
