To the great go the spoils!

Meeting you at RED Day 3, Sam, was one of those great experiences where a business relationship transcends into a friendship almost immediately. You have that amazing genuineness of character that makes you instantly likable and I've enjoyed seeing your smile ever since that first day way back in October of '07. I'm sure that you're smiling tonight and I just want to add my congratulations.

I've attached a couple shots from that early RED Day. Clearly, you are loved by those of us at RED and we wish you the very best and great success in your EPIC future!

Impressed so much of the Red staff has chimed in. Sam I don't know you yet, but you must be one special guy. Hope you will be at the Storm launch :)

Wow... I have never seen so many Red Team members on the same thread before.

I don't really know who Sam is, but he must be someone special... :-)

Nice to see so many EPICS coming out !

WOW! What a great day! And what a fabulously warm thread to come home to....

I was walking on clouds as I left RED Studios this evening, but logging on to this thread, has put me over the top. I'm sincerely touched. Thank you, everyone.

I'm thrilled to be the proud owner of such a incredible tool. I have to say I feel very fortunate to have been offered an "M"..... And after reading through so many kind posts, it has reminded me why this journey we have shared collectively, has meant so much to me. While yes, it goes without saying, we all love the amazing images RED cameras produce.... There's more to the RED story than the earthshaking technology here.....

There's the human side of the story.... And what a story that is. Such an incredible group of people, that have gathered around, to share the same dream. A dream that TEAM RED shares with REDusers from all around the world. And I have made so many wonderful friends along the RED road. I'm truly a lucky guy.

And speaking of dreams.... Being so happy tonight, I have to say... Because a business maverick, who actually happened to really be an artist, shared a similar dream with me. And he had the courage, vision, and resources to make that dream a reality. As a result, I am a lucky dog who owns an EPIC "M"! Thanks Jim!

This evening, our very own Bruce A. with Bonnie, Vlad E. with Gina, and Ruairi R., came over to celebrate the occasion, so I put them to work(play), as we ran around Santa Monica, jaws dropping, and drooling as we started to see what the camera can do. Thanks guy's! It was great having you there to share the moment with.

To TEAM RED, Everyone of them... All working night and day to make RED DIGITAL CINEMA, the # 1 professional camera company in the world. THANK YOU ALL! Your efforts have paid off. After a few short hours with my EPIC, I can confirm that the rumors are true. This camera is a Killer, and a game changer! I absolutely Love it. And, though no words can began to compensate you guys for all the hard work, and sacrifices you make, day after day after day, nights, weekends, etc.... I want you to know, I really appreciate it!

Jarred, dude, you're the man! Kelly, RED's very own princess :) RED wouldn't be RED with out you! And to Ted, Brent, Graeme, Michael, Brian F., Deanan, Rob, Dan, Nate Travis, Demian, Sean, Jon, thanks for your friendship, and for rockin my RED world!

To all my fellow RED fellows, who offered your congrats.... Cheers! Soon you will all own Epics, and we will share this EPIC dream together.

Like my good friend, and fellow "M" brother, John C, I'm a story teller who enjoys looking through the lens.... Being in the... "I can't afford a helicopter for tests", end of the RED pool. There probably won't be any high dollar shots in this thread.... But, I do hope to contribute here, with some frame grabs, and footy, in the next few days. And I will be assisted with that with some of our RED family, who will be chiming in to share the pleasure, that is shooting on EPIC.

It's late... and I have an EPIC that can't wait to go play.

RED RULES! Pass it on.

Congrats Sam!!!

Couldn't of happened to a better guy!! Love ya buddy!!
