These are good additions, Thanks keep em coming

Btw how would one get a set of those rehoused Leica R’s. I briefly check them out and was only able to find one offs. Any way to get something that approximates a set?

Something I'd like to add to this. Remember that lenses are designed for an optimal image circle. And for those of us filming with the full format of VV on RED it's notably larger than FF35. As such, some lenses are purpose designed for VistaVision.

The good news is the majority of FF35 glass works fine and dandy with VV.

However, at maximum format especially on the wide side of things you may encounter a thicker vignette, occlusion from matte box clamp on rings, and other optical related stuff.

This obviously isn't a concern with larger format glass like Thalias which are made for 65mm essentially.

For the purest, the first two sets of actual VV glass were the Cooke S7 and Tokina Cinema Vista Primes.

The difference is a lens designed to push out a 46.31mm image circle (RED VV) and an 43.27mm image circle (FF35).

I own and use VV and FF35 glass regularly with Monstro, but it's just something to think about.

I mentioned the Leica R's becasue we have a set, re-housed by TLS and they are beautiful lenses!
19mm, 24mm, 35mm, 50mm, 60mm, 80mm, 100mm, 135mm

Possibly the most lowcost pl modified FF lens out there, but still realy like it.

Helios 58mm

If this list is gonna include still lenses then well its gonna be big

in PL world SLR MAGIC APO Hyperprimes are full-frame but a 4 lens set, 25, 32, 50, 85

also those new lenses that are obviously modded Toking Vistas, can't remember the name but look cool

What happened to the NISI primes and their twins the Mavo primes?

On B&H there is a notification for NISI F3's reading "Currently unavailable".

The "de-tuned" Tokina Vista set coming out later this year are called the Tokina Vista "one". I believe there are the exact same lenses as Vista but for a few strategic single coated elements rather then multi-coated.... and a different paint job on the barrels, grey instead of black. Add a few thousand per lens and viola... Vista One!

They are said to cut perfectly well with the regular Vista's and only show their difference when flare situations are in play and show more flaring then the standard Vista's which are built to resist flare. So the "One" Vista series are modern lenses with some vintage-like character.

pretty sure that Jake was referring to the TM Camera Solutions "MasterBuilt Vista-M Lenses". Not the Tokina Vista One's. Jake described the lenses as "obviously modded". That's not the Vista One's. He means someone took the Tokina Vista's and reworked or "modded" them to sell under their own name. The TM solutions lenses look like someone just removed the black paint and then painted the numbering red, and stuck a name-plate on the lens:

Correct those are what I was referring to, not the vista one’s

What constitutes a "complete focal range"? I realize that the answer is a matter of opinion.

Nikkor AIS, Zero Optik do a nice rehouse for these.
Canon FD SSC, Simmod lens do a nice EF cine mod, cheaper alternative to K35's
Leica m.08, But you have to get a M-mount adapter
Cooke Panchro/i Classics, Think these are full frame??
