RONIN-M or HELIX-JNR ?

NO, but the Set Up is so light that I can briefly use one hand to hold the Helix and with the other do minor adjustments in focus, obviously not during the shot. The Tokina works well in 3 different ranges of focus so I try not to go from one area to the other (I don't go from wide shot where the focus is at 3-10 mts to a C.U., or viceversa), at least in f5.6 onwards. I recently got Foolcontrol but I'm missing the RedLink or its alternative...

Interesting !
Seems that a tight setup with the HelixJR is perfect when you want full freedom of movement for short takes .
And go the Ronin + easyrig way when you plan to have a fully rigged package, for long takes or shooting all day.

the very fact that we have so much choice at an affordable price now is mindblowing!

You're right i just hd my eyes on the HelixJr for some time but could't justify the 1000USD price difference.
Now it's almost the same, so i'm crying a little LOL

Between the two, the ronin. But the Steadicam just produces a nicer gliding visual that cinema viewers love.
