Since owning my Scarlet and now the original RED One, I've not looked at any other camera.
im done in camera department.
Not only I'm not betting against it, I have no doubt that since the inception of the first RED camera, the future was already delivered .

Steve Jobs was a great man. Jim, you too have a knack for seeing the big picture and finding the right people to help implement them. We all should stride for a big picture in life (excuse the metaphor). Jarred and the team get inspired that way...and so do we. Your picture is why we believe and hope and dream...

Jim

There is no way I am betting against you and the RED team. Quite the opposite, with 5 Epic Ms and an Red One MX we are betting on you.

Great news for that you will be involved for some more time, but get some rest and post more pictures from paradise

Thank you to you an the RED team for having the vision and drive to Make RED what it is today.

My bet (a substantial one) is that RED will be the ones to deliver the future of image capture.

Anyone want to bet against us? I'm open to the amount of the bet.

Jim

It would be kinda dumb betting against ones own investments.
Betting against you on top of that...

Not only do I back RED, but I'm putting money on that even when this "new technology" begins to roll out, there will only be greater things coming to keep you around Jim.

The "New Technology" will take a bit of time... so apparently that means I won't be retiring tomorrow.

What is true is Jarred's ever increasing role at RED. He now does more than I do. God love him. :-)

As much as new technology and innovation is important to the success of Red it's clear that the synergy between the Red Team is also a part of the "special sauce" that makes things work so well.

Glad you'll be sticking around a bit longer Jim. And really glad Jarred has stepped up to the plate in such a big way.

If RED was a public company, your stock would have tanked on the rumors of imminent retirement.

No bet, but I do hope you guys have or will sit down with Douglas Trumbull - :)
