  • Hey all, just changed over the backend after 15 years I figured time to give it a bit of an update, its probably gonna be a bit weird for most of you and i am sure there is a few bugs to work out but it should kinda work the same as before... hopefully :)

Yeah the switchplate is awesome. no more adapter :)

Loved the V-lock but as you know Ketch I havn't looked back since I've had this module.. it's the best of everything.

Yeap, agree with you there, and I loved the filling of your Dragon set up, and that is why I did exactly the same... ;)

All the BTS videos and pictures forthcoming form our shoots, will showcase why this system and the final set up chosen will kick some rear... Simply NO other system like it out here that allows you to do this, and with all the toys we'll be using Dragon M8 with, a set up like this is simply perfect, nothing on the way of your Top view, and not to worry about having to mount a V-Lock plate side ways as we were going to...

This is a module i've been waiting for a long time. The switchplate is a killer-feature, really great.
Soon those XLs i've bought from you, Ketch, will see a lot more cycles. ;)

Does this mean all new modules will also be utilizing the switchplate? Just curious, love the idea, fantastic implementation.

Man, you guys are revolutionizing too much of your stuff right now...XL Module, Mini Mags, Dragon Sensor...one day I'll be able to upgrade!

So jarred, does this mean that it can sit on the back of the quad module and allow for 3 XL's sitting on the camera?
 
I think it has been asked before but I don't remember seeing an answer : is there a particular reason why the similar V-mount module doesn't have that same reversible switchplate ? That's a brilliant idea !

Thanks. The switchplate is a new invention... which is why the v mount doesn't have it.

I'll definitely buy one when it does. Although I do like my current redbrick solution, there are times I like smaller and lighter, and ditching the module adapter would definitely help with that.
 
What is the weight of a REDvolt XL compare to a RED brick?

I know this is one of the IT products in the RED catalog. I'm excited about this product coming to fruition. I tried to make one similar to this but failed. My reference design came from my Hasselblad digital back. Thanks for making this product.
