Jarred, do you have a shuttle service from Stuttgart for the event !?
*sigh*
dont worry.. there will be a demo unit in our new German office soon.. http://de.red.com/
THIS SHOULD OPEN YOUR EYES FOR NEW IDEAS TO MARKET YOUR SERVICES....SHOOT 4K CONTENT, USE THE REDRAY AND PROJECTOR TO BROADCAST HUGE BILLBOARD SIZED ADS OR VIDEO ONTO ANY SURFACE OR HOLOGRAM USING THE WINDOW FILM!!! THE PROJECTS SUDDENLY GOT WIDER!!! ENJOY THE POSSIBILITIES
Are these installations typically going to be enhanced by 4K projection (over a lower rez)?
How many will justify the installation of a $10K+ projector?
So is ODEmax exclusive to RedRay or is there also a computer playback component (ala Youtube or will it work via the Desktop Red Player Program). It sounds amazing, but wondering the size of the potential audience to view some of the less mainstream content. $1500 is an amazing price for the Redray but it's not a cost that the majority of consumer home content viewers will be ready/able to shell out...
Fantastic announcement as always, .RED, Redray and Odemax. Really exciting times. Thanks!
MY guess is that with the REDRAY will absolutely enhance the res on any projection that is high end quality...if thats what you were referring to??
I am sure that REDRay will put out a gorgeous, pristine image. But, to be clear, my question is whether projecting on to this material, in these conditions, will be suitably enhanced by such an image as to justify the investment in a dedicated $10K plus projection system. Not saying it won't; just asking the question.
Looks awesome, but i have a few questions.
Is the redray for preorder for theater use as well as the home?
Am I right is assuming that the redray is 60fps 2d and 30fps 3d?
If it is only 30Ffps 3d, can 2 be used together for full (3d/4k/48fps) Hobbit playback?
Any idea on the typical movie cost per seat for a cinema business plan?
Can we see the remote please
Thanks
