Suspect so, the UK sat tv provider Sky broadcasts 3D, formats intended for passive screens but will work with active. And thats half res stuff, fairly sure the early info on the player implied full frame per eye.

OK - It's pretty breathtaking piece of kit. But is this just the Pro REDray? I'm thinking it is? What's the cost and what features will be lacking in the 'home player' version of REDray?

Godspeed to the development but I now need timeframe and above all COSTS of both the Pro REDray and the 'home' version (whatever that may be called)
