Version 6.0.x of the API is a major update to the API. It provides many more parameters that can be controlled as well as major new features such as parameter status, notification support, and menu tree support. The RCP SDK API version 6.0.x is compatible with camera versions 5.2.x and 5.3.x.
Please read the Changelog portion of the API documentation very carefully as there are few changes to your application you will need to make as we broke backwards compatibility in a few minor places.
