I see everyone starts selling their bridge... which is nice because it means my friend mark is selling a lot of HOTLINKs.

His new HOTLINK module is awesome, I love it, it's super cool looking, tiny, easy to configure and at last lets us use REDBricks with RCP apps without rails and stuff. It's a brillant tiny side module that can attach anywhere with a captive screw.

Mark will hate me for posting this but I say it because it is true : I just fell in love with the HOTLink, but I will also keep my REDLink bridge for at least two reasons :

- the mini THC... Hope it will come out soon (can control electronic lenses via RF directly using the second antenna and looked amazing at NAB)
- REDLink leaves the CTRL port free to plug the WMD and use foolcontrol to control cine glass via motors...

As a mater of fact having both (REDLink + HOTLINK) is even better as you can now connect two devices simultaneously to the same camera and opens many wireless possibility : the AC can get his focus marks while the DP is tweaking the curves, or the script girl can fill the slate and monitor takes number and TC... or the director can put frame markers while recording etc... That is only possible wirelessly with the 2 modules together, else you need to connect via ethernet....
