Okay, here's the question. I'm trying to use redline to export a few stills from each clip I have. Been using an Applescript to itterate through the 3 frames of each clip, but that is not where my problem lies.
If the start frame is outside of the in and out point, no matter what frame number I put in, I always just get a render of the frame that corresponds to the outpoint in RCX/ the RMD.
So for example, if I have a clip whose in point is on frame 1500 and out point is on frame 1731, and I run the following redline script, I still only get returned A011_C001_0917B8.000331.jpg. It is definetley the --useRMD that is causing the issue. If I leave the --useRMD out, the behavior runs as expected, however I need to use the RMD color. I have made sure to utilize --useRMD 2 vs. --useRMD 1 (should be only gathering color data from RMD)
redline --i /Volumes/KLM/Films/21\ and\ Balding/Original\ RED\ Footage/A011_0917JR/A011_0917JR.RDM/A011_C001_0917B8.RDC/A011_C001_0917B8_001.R3D --outDir /Users/harrylipnick/Desktop/StillsT/25 --format 3 --res 8 --start 1750 --frameCount 1 --useRMD 2
Curiously, if instead of --frameCount 1 I just use an end frame with the same number as the start frame (like below) then redline render every frame (inclusive) from the selected out point frame (1731) to the one used as start and end in the redline prompt (1750)
redline --i /Volumes/KLM/Films/21\ and\ Balding/Original\ RED\ Footage/A011_0917JR/A011_0917JR.RDM/A011_C001_0917B8.RDC/A011_C001_0917B8_001.R3D --outDir /Users/harrylipnick/Desktop/StillsT/26 --format 3 --res 8 --start 1750 --end 1750 --useRMD 2
Running Mac 10.8.5, Redline and RCX 21.
Help?
Thanks,
-Harry
