The more this kind of incredible upgrade come up the more I wish I didn't have to sale one R1 and lease out the other two to pay for the loan it really sucks a lot this days not to have an R1, especially now that I finally got my hands on my own first Professional piece of Cine Glass, the RPZ 18-85!

Oh well soon in off.. I should have an other RED cam in my hands..

Oooh Jim, you are making me think . I was going to shoot my flick at 4k 2:1, but this is extremely tempting

Nice to see a steady refinement of the red cameras firmware.
However any chance of reducing the rolling shutter effect and a option to properly calibrate the white point on each camera so the camera meta data will match for daily work. (Kind of like the black shading but for white).
