  • Hey all, just changed over the backend after 15 years I figured time to give it a bit of an update, its probably gonna be a bit weird for most of you and i am sure there is a few bugs to work out but it should kinda work the same as before... hopefully :)

RED16 EDL on mac

New version with a much faster engine (the previous one could be very slow with long EDLs...)

No need to email me... You can now download directly the free RED16 FCP EDL script here :

Download, unzip and run the script, it will ask for the EDL file then will convert it to a new RED16 EDL and save it to your desktop.

Please get in touch if you experience any problem with this script so I can fix it... any feedback (good or bad) is always welcome.
 
Someone had an issue with Log&Transfer...

so I made a new version 2 of the script (same link as before)

It works much better in any kind of situation independently of the type of EDL (offlines, L&T), as long as the RED16 and FCP8 names are there, everything will be changed to RED16 reel name and comments will be cleaned out.

Cut, Dissolve and M2 speedFX are supported, and any other exotic EDL flavors.

try it out it's free and very robust
