Fantastic!
We would love to host y'all here in Toronto, at Ryerson University.
I've been chatting with Ted about this for a couple of years.
I'll be in touch : )

My I suggest you set up camp Chez Graeme in Ottawa?

That way both the Montreal and Toronto crowds can head down to the nation's capital for some 4k Projector goodness!

+1 for Switzerland, there's a big Red community here, in our small country, although you have to choose to which community you will appeal as we are divided in 3 linguistic regions. The german speaking part is the largest and has the most access to film equipment and promotional events. The french part is second, but has a large (respectively) filmmaking community, and quite a few Reds. Paris is far and quite a different mind set. A presentation here would really attract a lot of people which will not otherwise make the trip to Zurich or Paris.

The filmmaking community here is right in the midle of a number of changes, DCP projectors are just being installed in a number of theatres, a new regional (french) foundation has seen the day mid 2011, offering new means of financing the local industry. The rental market has come to life, in great part due to Red making high quality products available at reasonable prices. People use to rent all their equipment in Zurich, nowadays the local offer is getting better and better. There's still work to do though on the information level for local producers who don't know enough about the new offerings in ways of camera and post workflows. Please come and help us make the local production companies understand the advantages of high end digital production in general and Red in particular...

Cheers,
Damien

PS I am of course available to help with venues, advertising, equipment, etc.

You are missing the home of Ingmar Bergman and the never setting sun... :) Please, Please try to fit Stockholm in there somewhere. We just had Fincher here shooting the Girl with the Dragon tattoo. I think a RED convent right after the film has premiere here would make quite an impact.

I agree that Stockholm would be good. You would also get people from the surrounding Scandinavian countries and the Baltics. From what I have seen here this is largely Alexa territory. I would love to see you guys shake things up a bit. I also could easily make it since I'll be in the area most of next year :)

I would love for you guys t come to Stockholm! As Brandon stated, Alexa is (for some reason I cannot figure out) talking a lot of shooting work here that in my opinion should belong to RED. As Stockholm is also situated more or less in the middle of Scandinavia (which is also fairly close to Germany, Poland and Russia) it could enable a lot of peopla to come and visit your demonstration. Bringing a 4K projector system with RED content would also help convincing people the 1080p is definently not enough for replacing celluloid cinema.

Anyways, where ever you end up going, good look and have lots of fun!

I think Ukraine is very perspective market! So will be glad to see Red Team in Ukraine! And can help with organization and invitations! There will be Euro2012 in Ukraine so Ukraine is attracive attantion of the whole Europe next year!
Give us the filmcamera for Euro2012!

CABO SAN LUCAS, BAJA MEXICO: there's always a chance to film decapitation at 300fps.....wait, that's Juarez over by Texas. Could put a few words in to some folks here as where to host.

OR....Distrito Federal in Mexico City capital of Mexican Film making, but Cabo's more relaxed.

....but you MUST hit your lower neighbor in Mexico.

Denmark is like the tiniest country in the world. How about one stop in the middle of Scandinavia, covering Denmark, Sweden and Norway?

Romania - really?
Vietnam - tough economics there right now.
Canada - we already know and love ya, but drop by for some road hockey
Brazil - seems like a must do
Czech Republic - yes. They make the techno crane too.
U.K -Yes.
Korea - Yes.
Germany - nah, Let them have their Arri.

Czech Republic - wow :D

I'd suggest Switzerland as well. If that's not on your list, please stopp in the south of Germany (e.g. Munich) as that would be a good place for the whole german-speaking red-suporters (from Switzerland and Austria too).

Jim, i'm not just saying this because i'm dying to meet you guys and finaly put my hands on Epic and Scarlet...

Here's my proposal.

China, Shanghai, 258 Wending Road.
We are AV distributor and home-theater custom installer, and we have a 180' 4K ready screen in our showroom, where we use another brand proudly made in USA, Audio Design Associates (ADA). I already wrote Jarred few weeks ago about Red projector and Red-Ray.

If you need help for visa and other things, i'd be glad to help.

Yannick

Just back from 3 weeks on the road and can't wait to strike out again on this tour!

Best thing ever is meeting people in the RED world, all over the world, and interfacing in person.

+ Ted
