Are the plates on top/bottom compatible with the old bomb plates - Can you use the Tactical EVF mount to hang it on a Dragon? Hate using EVFs with arms.

And you can order a kit that includes a little mounting cheeseplate, a 9" arm and cable if you want to mount off-body to EPIC, SCARLET, or WEAPON (with a Lemo Adaptor A).

If I order DSMC² LEMO ADAPTOR COLLECTION http://www.red.com/store/products/dsmc2-lemo-adaptor-collection with DSMC² RED EVF (OLED) W/ MOUNT PACK http://www.red.com/store/products/dsmc2-red-evf-oled-mount-pack , will I will be able to use the EVF on the Epic Dragon ( or do I need this specific kit you listed to use it on the dragon).

I'm going to be using my older epic dragons 5 and 9 inch touch monitors on my new weapon dragon, while sometimes using the new EVF on epics I'm have as backup camera's. Just trying to get the bits and pieces listed correctly so I don't drive my bombe squad guy crazy changing things a ton.

Shooting in Mauritius without EVF is brutal, despite great LCD hood solutions... I just missed my RED EVF too fucking much, and can't wait for this new bad ass version to ship out...

Yep, just got ours. Looks great so far. Bright and sharp. Much bigger image. Quick first impression is perhaps not quite as an Alexa EVF (though sharper), but better than an Amira's.
