The requests for dimensional drawings of the Weapon brain for people to make their own bits is ramping up as we get close to shipping... and the whole one-on-one NDA and legal interrogation process we have been making everyone go through I sense is becoming a bit of a pain in the ass for our customers.

So... Throwing Caution to the Wind I'm just gonna make them public for all... So enjoy.

Hope this makes things a bit easier for all of you.

Thank you Jarred. I was one of those asking. Important for um... this thing I'm doing and what Weapon goes in for it :)

Smart move Jarred. You competition does this with every camera launch.

More open = more choices = more usable = more desired = more used = more rented = more purchased.

Fascinating...lots of little bits of useful information in these drawings!

Very cool. Right now I have a lot of gear on a 19mm rail system right behind the dragon. For the weapon what is the recommended distance to not have anything obstructing the back fan area(i'm thinking i might need to get some rails that are a bit longer)? Some exhaust pipes out of the back and to the side I bet would look cool(air comes out the back right?).

Actually Jarred, if you're online and have a second, something that's looking me right in the face a lot on Weapon is the new fan and ventilation design. At NAB 2015 and a bit before I noticed Weapon is pretty quiet. The new ventilation system looks to have a fairly good sized heat sink and roomy airflow.

Anything you can say about operating temperature, airflow direction, and general fan noise?

Thanks very much for this!! And thank you for not changing the 95.9 optical center height, so that my existing DSMC products should be compatible. With there being some other body shape changes I was worried.

If I may be demanding, I've noticed a handful of callouts missing from the PDF which would be very nice to have. B and E can be calculated from existing dimensions if A and D are provided, so I only mention them for clarity's sake.
