How do we update firmware over USBC? Obviously can’t do it for the update that *provides* the function, but just curious for the next one. Will it show up as a drive on the desktop, then drag and drop? What’s the procedure here

Using Red Control App

Still unable to edit the FPS list, what am I doing wrong?

Hey Nick,

On the side screen press the top left FPS button, then bottom right you should see a "List" option. If it's showing up properly, from that menu you'll be able to select or deselect the FPS values you'd like to see or hide.

Hope this does the trick.

I think you can now update FW using a USB-C stick or drive connected directly to the camera as you would do to update using a media card.

As Andrew mentioned updating also works via the app regardless of how you connected it to the camera (wifi or USB / Ethernet).

Thanks Mikael! This is unrelated, but since you’re probably the most knowledgeable person on this topic, may I steal another moment of your time? For some reason, starting about 3 fw updates ago, my V-Raptor VV can no longer connect to Control or Control Pro over infrastructure mode. Ad-Hoc works just fine, no issue there. I’ve tried many different networks in different locations over infrastructure, all of them show “connected,” display the MAC and IP address, but won’t show up in the Control apps. Do you have any recommended troubleshooting steps, or is this probably an issue that would require sending the cam in to RED HQ?

Hello Ryan. You can dm me here or by email so we can look i to it. I can help make sure camera and device are indeed on the same network if you send me screenshots of the network settings on both sides….but if they are correct and it works fine in ad hoc it is possibly an issue on camera side …
