I tough it was something to do with been allow to ship or not to ship a product just like with the RED BRICK.

If it helps, the ones we are using internally are working pretty bad ass.

Ironically the Base Station is the first thing that just made it through... ready to start shipping. Doesn't do much except just look pretty without the other modules, but hopefully those will follow shortly.

Base Module provides power to the entire stack so you dont need to have power cords going to each module for E-SATA operation.

2.5" RED MAG accepts bare 2.5" SSD and Spinning hard drives for offloading.

You can mix and match up to 3 modules per base station.

$250 just to do away with the power cables?

but we could do without the base and power it up straight from the outlet and connect it to a computer for offloading?
