  • Hey all, just changed over the backend after 15 years I figured time to give it a bit of an update, its probably gonna be a bit weird for most of you and i am sure there is a few bugs to work out but it should kinda work the same as before... hopefully :)

RED STATION 1.8" and 2.5"

When will we see media and a Red One module?
 
Please forgive my lack of knowledge here, but the 2.5 is like a Nexto, and the 1.8 goes on the camera?
Or the 2.5 goes on the camera too? Or neither do, and they are like CF card readers? Or they both do, so with teh 2.5 I can use regular drives as mags?

I think a new product maybe needs a wee bit more text. We all know what a CF card is, but this, way less so.
 
Will there ever be a logic module to enable us to use the the Red station to do offloads to 2.5" SSD without the use of a computer?

The 1.8" reader is to read the camera media. The 2.5" is for offloading. Using your computer you will copy from the 1.8" to the 2.5" or to another drive.

Does the 2.5" module support 12mm drives (thicker/larger capacity such as WD 1TB), or just 9.5mm normal drives?
