The RED® Pro Touch 7.0" LCD offers a high-definition viewing experience for recording and viewing footage on your DSMC® or DSMC2™ camera system. A 1920 × 1136 resolution display panel provides improved color accuracy, high pixel density (at 323 ppi), and 1000:1 contrast. It is also bright enough for operation in high ambient light. A robust, optically-bonded touchscreen provides the most intuitive way to navigate menus, adjust camera parameters, and review your .R3D clips directly out of the camera.


The lightweight display mounts to your BRAIN® or other 1/4-20 mounting surface and provides a LEMOconnection to connect to your camera. The RED Pro Touch 7.0" LCD is an ideal monitoring option for gimbals, cranes, and remote (away from the camera) viewing.


For DSMC2 shooters, use a DSMC2 LEMO Adaptor A in conjunction with the RED Pro Touch 7.0" LCD for convenient mounting options away from the DSMC2 camera BRAIN. For a more ergonomic monitoring solution when you’re on the move, see the DSMC2 RED Touch 7.0" LCD featuring a fully rotating and lay-flat hinge design.

I used my 7" DSMC2 Touch outside yesterday for the first time and it was very visible. A big improvement over the 5" Touch!

For DSMC1 users, the lemo connects just like the old connections. No other adapters needed.

Yep, for noga arm/RED arm folks that would be nice. Likely could remove the 4 not centered 1/4"-20 below the 3/8"-16 and replace it with one centered 1/4"-20.

There are people who have their displays on Noga Arms/RED Arms or whatever all day. Having a hung adds additional bulk and perhaps not the perfect rigging placement for some. For others they'll want the flexibility of being able to rig onto the camera.

RED is providing options for all sorts of rigging preferences here.

I'm a cable-less man myself lately.

You can get size reducer bushings for less than a dollar each and then you never have to worry about messing up the threads in your $3000 monitor.
