  • Hey all, just changed over the backend after 15 years I figured time to give it a bit of an update, its probably gonna be a bit weird for most of you and i am sure there is a few bugs to work out but it should kinda work the same as before... hopefully :)

RED PRO Touch 7" LCD ( Hingeless )

Yep, for noga arm/RED arm folks that would be nice. Likely could remove the 4 not centered 1/4"-20 below the 3/8"-16 and replace it with one centered 1/4"-20.

Ok.

There are people who have their displays on Noga Arms/RED Arms or whatever all day. Having a hung adds additional bulk and perhaps not the perfect rigging placement for some. For others they'll want the flexibility of being able to rig onto the camera.

RED is providing options for all sorts of rigging preferences here.

I'm a cable-less man myself lately.

Thanks. Ya i'm thinking cable less for me as well. About to order the Dsmc2 7" soon as NAB is over.

Im glad this style is back. I can already see it would be great with a gorilla grip style single arm.

This does look great! My only comment would be, I wish the panel used was one of the new 7" panels rolling out with 1000-1500 nits for true sunlight visibility. I know the contrast ratio on this one is good, and thats a step in the right direction, but these screens really need to be brighter.
Other than that, the form factor is perfect, and with center ¼-20's it'll be just right. Just make it brighter!!

Well, i hope they have fixed a touchscreen issue in this batch, my 7" failed miserable twice in the last 10 months. No physical damage, touchscreen just dies.
