  • Hey all, just changed over the backend after 15 years I figured time to give it a bit of an update, its probably gonna be a bit weird for most of you and i am sure there is a few bugs to work out but it should kinda work the same as before... hopefully :)

I was recently fortunate enough to spend a Sunday afternoon shooting with the new RED EPIC-M.

A few tech notes -- 5K 2.40:1, 800asa, 95% is completely raw ungraded ProRes.

i worked on sunday. i mean i actually had to do work.
 
While I appreciate sharing of Epic material, I fail to understand this rush by so many users to show it unprepared. It doesn't help anyone in Red community in not promoting images, that Epic is truly capable of. Please don't take this as a direct criticism but as a more general lament. Other than "Law and order" spot, almost all of the Epic material is accompanied by "no grading" explanation. There are many people on these boards, me included, that would be more than happy to contribute to making these images shine...
 
Seems like 75% of all the 'actors' involved in these Epic shoots are hot, young women...
 
I also want to work on Sunday's ...and with an EPIC....
