Will the right hand handle slip past a regular side handle? Whats the deal with monitor mounting... can I offset to get two bolts in there, or would I be going through the threaded holes?

Depends if you want the monitor to be quick to remove or if you plan on leaving the monitor and handles on there together most of the time... You can use dual 1/4-20 longer bolts to go through both the LCD and Handle for more secure mounting, or just use the single bolt to be able to quickly remove the LCD and have the handles stay bolted to the camera.

I cant tell...is the top part of the bridge a nato rail? If so, AWESOME, this would integrated super well. Otherwise, please make it so, then it would integrated well with how many people set up the top of their Epic with your main nato grip pointing backwards.

Yes the middle is a Swat Rail. So you can use one of the Swat Rail accessories to mount on top of.. for example you could bolt your LCD to this http://www.red.com/store/products/bolt-on-camera-guide-clampn and have it Quick release on and off. Or have a top handle slide on if you are using an LCD.. etc. etc.

oooh!!! So your sliding top handle will work just fine in the middle? http://www.red.com/store/products/sliding-top-handle

Looking at the side rosettes and clearance, will this work ontop of the WoodenCamera toplate?

That is awesome! I was just thinking about needing a setup just like that today. You guys read my mind!

not sure what an X topplate is but where those rosettes for adjustment are , they are flush on the bottom, i.e if you put that whole assembly on a table without the handles it would lay flat, it doesn't dip down over the sides of the camera like it appears in one of the photos.

Ok great - cool that its a nato rail too.

How about clearance around a side handle - can I mount it and have this handle swing past a side handle, or is it strictly for setups without?

oh come guys, still doing real time replacement of a company name? it's a part i've owned for a million years and had an innocent question about in regards to this cool new red product.

You can have DSMC SIDE HANDLE attached, yes. So outrigger handle will be to right of side handle, yes, with clearance. Does it swing past, as in like fold all the way back to behind side handle? No.

I'd imagine DSMC side handle and then remove the right handle of this rig for a potentially best-of-both-worlds setup.
