  • Hey all, just changed over the backend after 15 years I figured time to give it a bit of an update, its probably gonna be a bit weird for most of you and i am sure there is a few bugs to work out but it should kinda work the same as before... hopefully :)

RED DAY... Feb. 13th

besides being a reduser member, is there anything further that we will need to register for to attend? or will this be in the "more details in the next few weeks?"

I personally am confused as to whether 'Junior Members' well be welcome.

I will be attending.

@ MTWheeler - making an assumption having a registration on reduser.net is what Jim is saying.. If not, we will see a flood of pointless posts .. including this one :w00t: !

it was also stated that RED day is also for potential buyers. im a "junior member" and i dont know how to change it, but im planning on spending a lot of money on the Scarlet, so I'm going. besides, it wouldnt make any sense for RED to turn away potential buyers.

Unless you have a special status (like 'REDUser Sponsor' or something), the status is based on your number of posts. I think it goes from junior member to member at either 50 or 100 posts.

Everyone who is a 'Registered User' was here before the big crash a few months ago, when all the user statuses and avatars and things were lost.

Yes, none of that makes any sense. Some people have a personality that makes them quiet, some of us won't shut up. Neither are better than the other, just different ways of learning or carrying yourself through life. It has no bearing on whether you are a better customer or not.

Everyone will need to register. Details will be posted about 3 weeks before the event.

Up dated information in Location for RED Day...

I just have got invitation to a RED DAY on January 16, 2010 at Ren-Mar Studios in Los Angeles.

Unfortunately I can't be there in LA because I'm busy at that time in Austria but looking forward to read about that event here at the forum.

RED Day on Feb. 13th is for anyone that is registered on reduser. That includes current and future customers.

Jim

Based on this... I would assume as long as you are registered on the forums, no matter what your user status is... you are good to go.

"Future Red Customer"

I'm debating whether to come from the east coast. My question is this... will this be an opportunity to learn about everything the new cameras will be able to do, or is this just a fancy tech demo? I don't want to spend the money on a ticket if I won't learn a considerable amount about the new systems.
