Michael Lubachevsky? Anyone know if the Red Control app will wirk on the ipad air with the m1 chip?

Sure. The free RED_CONTROL app will run fine but in 'scaled mode' only as it is an iPhone app.

The recently released RED CONTROL PRO app available on the iPad or Mac App Store will make good use of the extra pixels and processing power available on your M1 air...

Is there an interface difference/advantage for RED CONTROL PRO on the 16.2" Macbook Pro versus the 13.6" Macbook Air?

Are there plans to release RED CONTROL PRO for Windows / Android?

Thank you!

The larger screen will allow more room for the UI as you can scale the window larger and display more buttons or larger control / previews... not a problem to run on a 13 whatsoever in term of speed but you might enjoy the larger screen if you plan on controlling multiple cameras simultaneously for example.

No immediate plans for RED CONTROL PRO on Android / Windows.
Current roadmap is to keep adding more features to the MacOS app to offer more features for end users who need to do more than what the mobile can do.

The app was conceived as a MacOS software mainly for onset DITs, most of them already using Macs and multi camera setups... the iPad app is sharing 90% of that MacOS code so it was easy to offer it as a bonus... so when purchasing the PRO app you get both.
