Nice undate. On the Products/Epic/Gallery page -- I suggest that you replace the 64gb CF card with a 16gb since you have announced that they will never be available... Seeing that is a painful reminder that at the moment we are stuck at 16gb CF. Or even better, lets see a nice 64gb SSD instead.

Let me say that i a bit unfair and not educational have all those movies on the"Shot On Red "list that actually have just a few shots made on Red (and actually made it for for CG) ...

I am telling this because as a colorist i was trying to do a research to see every movie shot on Red....and what i would like to know/have on the "shot on Red" website list , is a list of movie shot at least 95% on Red....and not Viceversa (as many of those are ...like Jumpers , angels and Demons or Lovely Bones etc...)

that list should have only movies shot at least 95% on Red ...
That would help to see and judge...and RED OBVIOUSLY have nothing to Hide !!!(Social network is great example of 100%...so why confuse people with that Huge List?)

g

Maybe they could add a "2ND UNIT AND ADDITIONAL PHOTOGRAPHY" section, or text indicating that for such films.

I still think it is important to list these films - and there are many not even listed on RED's site yet that used RED for additional photography (such as Get Him to the Greek, etc.) - but do I agree - there should be a way for people to know which films were shot on RED as the primary format.

I really like the new site. Big improvement.

It would be nice with more alternitives to describe your buisness when creating the account. Maby check boxes so you can choose for example that you do brodcast comercials, webb comercials and coporate. Not a big thing but anyhow more nice to describe your company little better.

Cheers!

looks great

Yay, there's lens specifications and other long-overdue info!

Looks good, guys. Keep it up!

Second that suggestion

Second that suggestion

Still showing that 64gig CF card.

Gotta razz ya, cause we could really use a 64+ CF or SSD option for the underwater stuff - want to eliminate the size and heat of the REDDRIVE.

Any word on the SSD module?

Need more media asap. Please, thank you...

If we don't razz you who will...

Best,
Frazier

Hmm.. In the tech specs for Epic "temperature ranges" says:
Operating Range: 0˚C to +40˚C (32˚F to 104˚F)
Here we've been using Red down to -25C without any problems. Hope that Epic is at least as useable as Red One in this regard...

I second that, 32F seems a bit limiting. I do ski stuff and the mountains Utah can get pretty cold.

REDone is rated from 0-40c also.
We've had this discussion elsewhere. Temperature ratings don't mean you can't use it out of that range.

The new site looks really great ! Well done guys !

some feedback:

Took a long time to load (on a 100mbps connection).

Doesn't fit my browser... my browser must be at least 1280px wide and I still get a scrollbar. I would add some code to get rid of the horizontal scroller and center the site.

Little trick I learned by accident in Firefox and IE. Don't know if it works with other browsers. Hold control key and hit the minus key (-) to shrink the page to fit, or plus key (+) to enlarge it to fit a wider screen. Works great for me to enlarge pages/text to a more readable size on my 1900 x1200 monitor.

New site looks great by the way. Watched all of Ted's intro videos too. Only lacks a "buy it now" button for Scarlet .:biggrin5:

Choosing a width in excess of 1200 pixels is a bit of an interesting choice to me. I can only assume their analytics show that only a few users are viewing the site at less than 1280 pixels wide. Which, honestly, would make sense for a lot of people in the industry wandering about the internet at 1920x1080 or higher.

Well done, guys.

Love the technical specs section.

The Accounts section should maybe be called more clearly "My Account".

When I log in with my details (as in the now disfunct red.com/my_account page), my original order for the R1 and acc's is no longer there, and my account is at $0, while there should be a good deal more.

Nothing urgent or major, so I won't bother with a direct email, but...

When on the Products > Epic > Gallery page, clicking on the last thumbnail image (the exploded modules) goes back to the first image. Navigating using the arrow buttons works just fine. Looks like a bad rel="N" pointer in the code...should be rel="4" instead of rel="5"?

Everything seems a bit too dark on the home page. I've adjusted my monitor to brighter settings but still can't see enough detail. Maybe I'm just getting too old to see like when I wore a younger man's shoes.

Yep, my account balance is showing a $0 as well. That's not right... Not that I had much there, but...

I'm assuming it's still a process of getting everything put together.

Accounts are still being transferred from old to new.
