  • Hey all, just changed over the backend after 15 years I figured time to give it a bit of an update, its probably gonna be a bit weird for most of you and i am sure there is a few bugs to work out but it should kinda work the same as before... hopefully :)

RED Color - A look at REDWideGamutRGB/Log3G10

Thank you Graeme for your quick response and detailed explanation!

And once we get the system to release, obviously I'll be around to answer in a much more detailed manner with specifics on settings and so on.

I don't understand how it works.
Is there a tutorial on how to use it?

....or we simply select REDWideGamutRGB and Log3G10 and grade from there in RCX Pro B42?

Thanks

Or if you want to use the IPP2 Preview LUT, you can try this:

You welcome! Have fun with it. The IPP2 Preview looks amazing with my Epic-W footage.

I cut together a demo reel today and I got to try IPP2 LUT on some old footage. There's two shots in particular that got brought to 110%. I showed them to their respective client and the first word was "Wow".

WOW. That's great to hear!

Yep!
Wow! Again, What a beautiful work by Graeme!!!
The finesse of the image is stunning!
Congrats! ...and Thanks so much!

Hey Graeme!
I'm always impressed by your attention to art.
In fact...the image now looks totally organic, like there was no 0's and 1's.
Pure analog look.
Just incredible really.

That's a really nice way of putting it Antoine. I was certainly going for a very organic feel to the image and it's wonderful how you've picked up on that.

Graeme

Graeme,

Have you guys already embedded the IPP2 op-code into Helium (Weapon and Epic-W) based firmware yet? If not, when are you expecting that to happen?
