I don't know where to begin with Mark. He is one of those shooters at the top of his game that every single time we talk to we leave the discussion motivated. He is one of those rare individuals that when he steps through the door, you know you are about to experience something special.

Thanks Mark for pushing not only your own boundaries, but for pushing ours, and inspiring each and every one of us at RED.

Tomorrow will be the first day in a long time where Jarred does not ask me "Is Toia's Collective ready yet?". If that is any hint of his excitement over our 10th Collective...

MARK! Yet again, you always inspire. Yours is a fun and unique take on the Collective. One knows a treat awaits when it's marked Toia.

I felt guilty watching this on a MBP Retina. Seems like it should be seen on a much bigger screen. :-)

Seriously, Mark is a rare gem. Super talented, not afraid to do it his way. And very approachable. He has always been available to answer questions, like back in the day when I called him to talk about RED quicktime proxies. He loves this stuff, and most importantly, he loves the art as well as the craft. A true renegade, someone making it happen on a daily basis. I can tell you that he often makes me feel like I'm a slacker, but that's a good thing. We all need motivation and inspiration.

Well deserved Mark!

This is a really sweet peace of work and something to look up to.
Also really love how RED keeps "showing off" their customers work!

I think the guys at RED will tell you, without customers, there is no RED. This RED collective series makes a lot of sense from a lot of different angles and they have done a great job with it. It also allows them to demonstrate their filmmaking skills, which is why the company exists anyway. There are a lot of talented filmmakers at RED, not just people who work there to make a paycheck and that's really good for everyone.

I don't post an awful lot, but I felt I needed to on this thread. I've never met Mark, and more than likely never will. All I can say is watching that made me want to grab my Scarlet MX, head outside... and not come back in until I can order a Weapon... and then keep going. Thank you Mark, and RED for the inspiration!

I absolutely LOVE the RED Collective Series - every one has been a great insight into the talent behind the images, Been waiting like everyone to see and know Mark Toia better and this Collective does a wonderful job of giving us all that glimpse behind the scene of Mark at work. Thanks to the whole RED team for the series and especially the crew that has produced the series - you've traveled the world to make these... thank you.
