  • Hey all, just changed over the backend after 15 years I figured time to give it a bit of an update, its probably gonna be a bit weird for most of you and i am sure there is a few bugs to work out but it should kinda work the same as before... hopefully :)

RED COLLECTIVE: ASGEIR HELGESTAD

If RED doesn't have the necessary rights reserved per contract, perhaps the creators would be willing to offer an abridged version (with a prominent logo bug of their choosing to discourage unauthorized re-use). Might be a good promo opportunity for them, RED and all the 4K peeps out there pushing pixels.

I saw it the day (?) it went online on RED.com. I was so amazed of the footage that I watched several times, and pulled people here in to watch it as well. Common opinion here, it was really worth watching it. Great work! More please ;o) Hehe.
 
Can we get a 4k version for the REDray?
 
Brent, was the footage you guys shot done on a Monochrome? And was this Dragon or MX? Just curious, either way it is absolutely lovely...stunning really...

I'm sorry to say that I havent been here at Reduser for a while, and I got so overwhelmed when I saw all these great messages!! Tanks a lot!
Jonathan Bennett is the main photographer for this video shot in monochrome. He's a really great cameraman, and did this job together with Jay Teegardin and Matt Klam. Both some very talentfull and great guys!! Vi had some fantastic days together out in the wild at -35F, -35C, and the colder the better light! :)
Anyone who has a Wild idea and like to discuss doing some great jobs - give me a sign!

I wasn't going to say it, but since you di first, I must say that when I sow it again at Maxx Digital together with Jonathan, I loved it, and immediately recognize both the quality of his work in representing YOU in your environment at work, blasting away capturing magic imagery... Well done both of you!!

PS: Asgeir, I might be headed your way soon... An other fellow Reduser leaves up there, and about time for me to visit him... And capture some of that incredible landscape as well... :)

Will, The Collective are pieces on individuals or companies who are shooting on RED and doing interesting/innovative stuff with it within their genre. You can see all to-date here (scroll down).

We, RED, shoot The Collective (and the BTS and the Sean and Nate videos, etc etc).

In LA right now, and headed back to Italy for a Summer project, then Switzerland and Germany...

After that or in between we'll find a time to come over... Martin has been waiting for me to go that way too...


But I'll definitely message you when I come Asgeir... I might do a crazy drive all the way there with my SUV full of gear and stay awhile too... And at last discover Norway's beauty... And Beauties... :)
