  • Hey all, just changed over the backend after 15 years I figured time to give it a bit of an update, its probably gonna be a bit weird for most of you and i am sure there is a few bugs to work out but it should kinda work the same as before... hopefully :)

RED bricks not showing voltage on EPIC?

Deanan are you saying that in your setup with the exact same equipment (EPIC, redplate, 2b-1b) it works?

For some people it's not working which likely means a revision cornercase we're not handling in firmware.

Your testing it, no pix? Im in love with the single chargers light, what does the quad show?
 
I too am having battery voltage readout issues. Neither battery plate reports voltage, replaced one of the plates steel back with aluminum one, no change. But plug Ac power into the 1b 2b cable (same as for the battery plates) I get a voltage report. Puzzling...

That's odd.. That is not the issue I have run into, it's the RED PLATE that I have the issue with..... I'm sure there will be a fix soon...
 
Just an update, today I was using a CamWave wireless monitoring system on my Red battery plate, with a RedBrick on the CamWave, and the voltage showed up. I also had a D-TAP running off the Red battery plate, powering a Preston remote follow focus.

No idea why the direct RedBrick to Red battery plate doesn't give a readout, yet the same combo with a CamWave in between does!

Anyway, another possible point of bug attack for the Red Team.
