I liked your youthful style but maturing is o.k. too!

The RPP's really are amazing... We have played with a ton of lenses over the last half a year, and the RPPs continually beat most in resolution and field illumination.
I was hoping more for an update on what is known. Specifically I was hoping to hear we'll soon have the ability to drop a HDD with our movie on it into a slot, turn on the Red Projector, (you know, the one installed in your local movie house) and just kick back while the Red System exhibits our movie to a paying audience. Was anyone else kind of hoping for a new product announcement called RED Fire?
I have a important question that will probably stay unanswered for the moment, but i ask it anyway.
Could we have a rough idea of the fare for upgrading scarlet (and epic) to dragon sensor ? I'm trying to foresee costs using/upgrading my scarlet in a close future.
RED used to be Fire... Ready, Aim.
We have changed... just as promised in our tagline.
Now we are Ready, Aim... Fire.
Upgrading to Dragon will certainly cost less than what you paid for the camera.

having bought many cameras in my life, and dumped many camera after they become obsolete, I can say this thread and the redgamma3 makes me feel good. Instead of worrying that my camera is getting outdated, you guys make it better. I can't for the life of me figure out why people would wan't to buy a c300. Maybe the need for ready to work files. But a few years from now, the camera too will become a dinosaur. All be it and expensive one.
This past week I unfotuneately had to make the decision to sell my beloved scarlet because red is getting too good at it game, and my epic is ready months ahead of when I thought. it caught me off guard finically. The decision to jump of is an easy one. The fact it can be upgraded makes it a no brainer.
Red if you can have a mission over the next year or two, lead the push to get post production work flows working better with red files. Make a Red Rocket card that acts like a kona or MXo2 that can work with Avid, Final Cut X and Premiere so we can work natively with raw files. If not open up technology to help this along. For TV guys like me, the post production work flow is challenging. I'm hesitant to drop 5k on Rocket card because I do think it is best way to work with files. I'm sure any you can strike a deal with AJA, Black Magic and Matrox to make this happen and not loss money from red rocket. You'll also sell A lot more cameras to the TV market. Who would not want to shoot design show, cooking shows and everything else on a scarlet or epic.
“Ready, Aim… Fire!” has special meaning for us as we are fixin’ to mount telescopic gun sights on our two Scarlet-Xs for a surveying/3d recording field application. Will hope to post pics before this becomes a “Zombie” thread.
“we aim to please…” (said the firing squad).

Classic comedy Eric, wish Black Adder would make an appearance on House as a broke lord making a living reading poetry on stage with Baldric as the personal assistant and Stephen Fry as his agent/personal manager, every year. Actually, I wish that the original BBC Hitch Hiker's Guide to the Galaxy had such wonderful delivery (especially in the meal serving scene at the restraunt at the end of the universe). Boring as.. that show, the Robot was mildly funny, sort of like a friend of mine, can really understand his affliction.
