  • Hey all, just changed over the backend after 15 years I figured time to give it a bit of an update, its probably gonna be a bit weird for most of you and i am sure there is a few bugs to work out but it should kinda work the same as before... hopefully :)

Raven Queue Put Together

I'm going to throw this out there. Anyone looking at this queue in hopes of thinking there are a handful of people buying Raven is getting the exact polar opposite. RAVEN has been available for preorder is 9/25/15. Then more people bought it one month later when they upgraded the specs. Even me, I ordered last week, there's no way I'm getting my camera in March. Maybe even April or May. There are a lot of orders of RAVEN. And the allotment process takes a while. While I know RED can produce cameras, it's the fact that people have to get in their money for the rest. It takes a while. Now one thing to hope for is an early release. If you look at MG Weapons, they shipped about a week before February 5th. Now, if Scarlet-W can ship before February 14th, and in good numbers, RAVENs will hopefully ship before their March 17th ship-date. Hopefully in high quantity. Once they starting shooting these out, the queue will move along swimmingly. Let's just hope the sensors start showing up this month!

These me are my 2 cents, take it with a grain of salt, or don't take it at all and hope for RAVEN on 3/17. Unless you were the first to order, then I am envy of you. But enjoy the camera and let us know all about it!
 
I don't see a queue, however I would not rely on this. While a lot of users are on the forums, its still only a fraction. Though, I can tell you this. Scarlet W's are ready to go. Jarred confirmed that in the January update. MG Weapon upgrades have been blasted, and if you look on the MG Weapon page, they are 'In-Stock'. I heard of a date of February 14th, however, that is a Sunday. I'm going to guess Monday, they will start shipping in batches.

The queue is smaller than the Raven. Couple that with the stock pile they already have, it may be the quickest and smoothest rollout to date.

Sorry, have to correct a few things..not all Weapon MG upgrades have been emailed yet...I still haven't been notified and I ordered on the very first morning at NAB. They are however, filling new Weapon MG orders because that line can move faster than the upgrades. And Jarred just said yesterday that the first Scarlets were about two weeks away. I know everyone is excited to get their new cameras, but let's be realistic. This process is going to take a while to complete.

BTW, I ordered Raven on 9/25/16 @ 6:22am, and then switched to Scarlet-W
 
Is it confirmed that people switching from Raven over to Scarlet-W get the head of the queue? That's a bit of a bummer, if so... I got my Scarlet-W pre-order in within the first hour or two, but I could theoretically be 100+ behind because of all the switchovers from Raven. I would have put in a pre-order on Raven if I knew it would let me cut in a Scarlet queue!

yes that is confirmed. everyone who jumped on the preorder for the raven gets to change to scarlet, keeping their order time. it's only fair to them as the scarlet-w didnt exist yet.

You can look at it another way and take satisfaction from the fact that your Scarlet W order has bumped us early Raven orders back a month so they can get the Scarlet orders out first.
 
man I really need to find time to come back and play with this and update. :) I'll try to this weekend.
