  • Hey all, just changed over the backend after 15 years I figured time to give it a bit of an update, its probably gonna be a bit weird for most of you and i am sure there is a few bugs to work out but it should kinda work the same as before... hopefully :)

RAVEN Allocation

With you, if mines not here and running with in two weeks from now I will probably offer up my position in line and cash for an epic dragon, as I have a show starting that I already convinced them to switch from 2 Alexas to 2 Reds...literally only because I know I can get away with the b-cam being a Raven, so by the end of the show it will be paid for. Or maybe I say they are not ready yet and look for a used Amira. Though I know those are hard to come by.
 
Really? I mean... February was a good delivery date (only 5 months of waiting), march okay, april was fine, and if I receive mine by the end of may I am still happy. But end of summer?!?! No... Makes me really, really sad.
 
I've asked authorized dealers around when I was considering placing an order for the RAVEN and here's their general responses.
Samy's DV [Based in US] - Said that they are expecting stock/delivery soon, but can't give an exact date. = I assume that means within the next few weeks to a month, within May?
CVP [Based in London/UK] - Said they are "waiting for stock which should be within the next month" = Within May/June.
AV8 [Based in Singapore/Asia] - Said that delivery time [for perhaps exclusively my order - placed on 21st April] is probably going to be August/September = Much later than June

This of course is only what the dealers have said/estimated/guessed/were told, timelines from RED shipments might be different/behind.
Also, this is only from dealers, people that have placed orders directly with RED might receive their allocations/shipments earlier or later (however it seems that it's most likely later than dealers receiving stock).

Hopefully this gives some idea of when you might receive your RAVEN.
 
Is there a way to tag poor jordan levy? �� I believe he ordered 15 min after so he's not far behind.
 
I also just received my Raven allocation. I/O package ordered 30 min in. It's happening folks.

haha! Thanks Mendel i got mine yesterday too! i posted it on the raven que thread though, very excited, paid and picking it up at the red store in 3-5 days hopefully!
 
Congrats Jordan! I'm excited for you, and totally felt your pain.....and unfortunately still do.:glare:

Awesome. Congrats guys. Good to hear cameras are rolling out. Jordan, your time has come. Glad to hear it man. Enjoy. Can't wait to get that news myself for the Scarlet W.
 
Anyone else been allocated since the ramp up? Someone??
