  • Hey all, just changed over the backend after 15 years I figured time to give it a bit of an update, its probably gonna be a bit weird for most of you and i am sure there is a few bugs to work out but it should kinda work the same as before... hopefully :)

RAVEN Allocation

some some people were allocated yesterday, still sounds like brain only.
abracadabra raven packages appear!!!
cause it's all magic right?
 
There's a FB group up for raven, someone posted on there that he just put an order in for a raven at abelcine & was told he'll get it in April. I'm not implying anything, just re-writing what he posted..

abel might of put in an order for like 50 of them immediately, you never know.
or they might have some backdoor ordering system that is not available to the public.
 
Either way I'm hoping the timeline they gave us is for individuals, regardless of how those orders were orignally placed.

I think the case is that they put in an order for a bunch all at once and they were not all spoken. I am basing this off of ordering a Raven about 3 weeks ago now from Fusion Cine here in Vancouver and was told that they ordered 40 out of the gate and that I would be getting one from their first shipment. Fingers crossed that is soon, but I am just going to keep shooting on what I got and be thrilled when it shows up!
 
At this pace, I might see my RAVEN by the end of July hehe (ordered 9/30).
 
I think Xmas for me 1-26����������. Reason I moved from the ursa mini .
 
hoping very much that new allocations come out tomorrow, it's been a whole week and that seems to be the pattern.
please please please some raven packages!
if not, maybe an update might be good ;)

Fingers crossed for some packages being allocated tomorrow...on the bright side my small fleet of Switronix Hypercore slim RED's just showed up ready and waiting! They are pretty light and sleek, can't wait to use them.

got mine too, the charger is a lot smaller and lighter then i though too!

Yes, charger was much lighter than expected but build still seems solid. It makes for a nice and compact travel package actually.
 
Any allocations today?
 
Hey everyone, I spoke to Abel Cine today and asked them about their RAVENs. So basically, if you order from them you are buying from their bulk order. They also said they have a priority thing with RED because they are a dealer. I'm probably going to wait it out, because of my education discount, but I highly recommend you at least give them a call and talk to them if you are in a hurry to pick up your bird.

so you think they actually have them? with accessories? hmmmm…i thought red direct would be the quickest.
